Visiting London

I am really excited. The children are on holiday from school next week and we have decided to go to London. We have never taken them before and they are only 4 years old but I think that they will really enjoy it. We want them to do lots of exciting things there and so have got quite a busy day lined up and have also arranged a hire car to help us get from place to place easily.

We have decided that because they both like dinosaurs, then we should go to the Natural History Museum. I am concerned that they might be a bit scared but I am sure we can reassure them that it is all pretend and they will be fine. I remember going when I was a child and really enjoying it and then going again fairly soon after. We have decided against going to Harrods as it is likely to be stressful with two children running around and so we might just go to Trafalgar Square and feed the pigeons or watch the changing of the guards, if we have any time left at the end of the day. I am sure that we will all find it tiring but it will be great fun and well worth it. It is a long time since I went to London and so I am sure that it will be great to go back and enjoy all of the tourist things again. The only problem is that a day is just not long enough.

The Southwark Cathedral is a 13th century Anglican cathedral. This makes it the oldest Gothic church in London and several people love the architecture as well as want to pray there when they visit London. The magnificent Southwark Cathedral has recently undergone some remodeling to help improve the structure as well as restore some of the original architecture. The cathedral is very rich in historical context and can be explored in several ways. The Victorian architecture from the repairs makes the cathedral certainly unique with the mixture of different styles and this makes it all the better to see in person. Photographs cannot capture the raw beauty that this location can cast on any one individual. Make sure to take some time to look into it especially if you love architecture.

There are plenty of ways to get to the Southwark Cathedral, but your best bet is to take advantage of a car hire option whenever possible. It is easy to get anywhere within two points when you have a vehicle on hand. Otherwise, walking or taking public transports would take simply too long. You can imagine that getting a vehicle is hard, especially at last minute, but that is not true. It is easy to get a car hire at any time online, just inputting where you are going to be and how much you have to spend on your travel budget on a price comparison website will get you the vehicle you need for your London stay!
