What may be one of the most iconic landmarks of England is The Tower Bridge, or as it’s more commonly known as, London Bridge. No trip to London is complete without taking a trip to central London to see all of the landmarks the city has to offer. Right across the River Thames also lies the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, as well as Buckingham Palace. Depending on where you are in the city, a car may be necessary. Getting to and from the landmarks once you’re in the general vicinity of one of them is a walk in the park (Hyde Park that is!). Pardoning the terrible pun, you will realize once you’re there that walking from places like Buckingham palace to the other famous spots will be very easy.

During your trip around the city, you have to make sure to walk across London Bridge. You can usually see the bridge from anywhere along the River Thames, but to fully appreciate its beauty you have to make a trip onto the bridge itself. Don’t be shy taking photos either! Millions of tourists make their way to London every year to see for themselves what all of the fuss is about, so stopping to take some photographs (as long as you don’t hold up traffic!) is perfectly acceptable. All along the bridge there are also “photo opportunity” signs that will tell you where the best places on the bridge are to take photos of yourself and the river behind you.
