I will be the first person to tell you that I have not done a lot of travelling. However, what I can’t tell you is why I haven’t done a lot of travelling. It’s not because it is some big secret, but it is simply because I don’t really know why I haven’t travelled more. Although I have been to a handful of different places throughout the United States, my list of travelling pales in comparison to just about everyone I know. While travelling plays a major role in many people’s lives, it has simply never been that way for me. However, I decided I was ready for that to change, and it was for that exact reason that I decided I wanted to make my New Year’s resolution to do more travelling.

Now, I know just as well as you that most people don’t stick to their New Year’s resolution. However, this was something that was very important to me, and it’s for that exact reason that I have already planned my first big trip. That’s right; I am scheduled to go to London at the beginning of August. I don’t have to go back to school until the end of August, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to take my first big trip. Obviously, I am quite nervous about this trip (considering the fact that I have never left the country), but at the same time I couldn’t be more excited about the fact that I am going to get to visit somewhere that is as amazing as London for my first actual travel experience!
