As you go through life, you have a lot of different experiences. In most cases, you will remember these experiences for awhile, but you will eventually reach a certain point where you forget about these experiences. However, there are those unique experiences which you will be able to carry with you for the rest of your life. These experiences are obviously different for every individual, but I have no doubt that you know exactly the type of experiences that I am talking about.

Although I have a variety of experiences that I feel I will remember for the rest of my life, the most recent one took place just over four months ago. The experience I am referring to was visiting the Tower Bridge with my girlfriend. I’m not exactly sure why this was such a profound experience for me, but I know that it’s something I am going to carry with me for a long time. Even if I eventually break up with my girlfriend and marry another woman down the road, I know that this memory will remain with me until the day I die. It may sound sappy, but I think it’s incredibly special that we get the opportunities to have experiences that are so significant that we never forget them.

In the summer of 2008, I spent several weeks travelling around different destinations throughout Europe. I had just graduated from college, and taking this trip was something that I had always dreamt of doing, so I realised that there was probably never going to be a better opportunity than that to turn my dream trip into a reality.

Because I planned out everything in advance, I was able to make this trip come true for a lot less money than I expected. A lot of people act like longer trips have to cost a ton of money, but if you are smart about what you plan and invest some time into doing your planning in advance, you can take an amazing trip at a reasonable rate.

Since I was going to a lot of different places in Europe, I spent a lot of time on various modes of transportation from one destination to another. For example, one of my favourite parts of the trip was arriving at Tower Bridge. Although it’s not necessarily common, I was able to find a river transport from my first location to the Tower Bridge. After I arrived and toured around this area, I picked up the Tower Bridge car hire I had reserved several months earlier and continued my trip by journeying into London.
